This beaded sardine bag is our petite market bag reimagined in a crisp navy stripe. Across the front, a school of sardines is rendered entirely in glass beads, each one placed by hand. It takes roughly five hours and hundreds of beads to finish a single bag, which is why no two ever come out quite alike.

The bag is handwoven by our artisan partners in Bangladesh, who earn Fair Trade wages for the craft. Add your own monogram and the piece becomes a one-of-one, made to be carried for years and handed down after that. This is a limited run from our Bead Collection, and this navy stripe colorway ships July 24.
